This position is responsible for general administrative duties, teacher evaluations, student discipline, attending IEP's and 504 meetings and other duties associated with a high school administrative position.
OUR TOWN AND DISTRICT Elizabeth is located in a beautiful area of the Palmer Divide among rolling hills and pine forests with views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains.
At an elevation of 6,448 feet, Elizabeth is located 15 miles east of I-25 about 45 minutes southeast of Denver or northeast of Colorado Springs.

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for providing support to the principal, supervision of staff, oversight of various operational and administrative functions.
Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
SALARY $80,000 - 98,000 depending on experience 220 days Competitive benefit package KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts performance evaluations of teaching and support staff.
Serves as liaison among students, staff, parents and others for the purpose of conflict and problem resolution as well as routine interpersonal and professional functions.
Monitors the general adherence to all applicable school and district policies.
Supervises and oversees a variety of functions and personnel related to the operations of a number of programs and groups.
Oversees the planning and implementation of special events and programs.
Assists with building of the master schedule and the assignment of teachers.
Designs and implements bell schedules.
Performs a variety of financial management functions, including program budgets.
Communicates as needed with appropriate District personnel, parents, students and others.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING Master's degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE Three to five years related administrative experience.
Is flexible and has the ability to work co-operatively with the school leadership, parents and co-workers Maintains a generally positive attitude LICENSES OR CERTIFICATION Appropriate Colorado administrator license ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, climbing, stooping Occasional squatting, kneeling, crawling Frequent lifting 5 to 20 pounds Occasional lifting 20 to 50 pounds SUPERVISORY DUTIES Employment, supervision and evaluation of certified and classified high school staff.
